Video: DIY Face Cleansing Pads

Here is a step-by-step video for making your own DIY face cleansing pads with Young Living’s cypress and tea tree essential oils.

Gather: distilled water, aloe vera juice, witch hazel, cypress essential oil, tea tree essential oil, cotton rounds, 8 oz glass jar of your choice (see our recommended jar below), 1/3 measuring cup, 1 measuring teaspoon

1/3 cup distilled water
2 teaspoon aloe vera juice
4 teaspoons witch hazel
20 drops cypress essential oil
20 drops tea tree essential oil

  1. thoroughly combine above in 8 ounce glass jar of your choice then add 40-60 (give or take, see video) cotton rounds
  2. place lid securely, shake a few times, lay upside down for about 3 minutes, flip and lay right side up for about 3-5 minutes
  3. let it “marry” overnight and use as you would any face cleansing pad*

*always test spot before use

      Hi Vicki,

Strongly recommend waiting until you can obtain a bottle of Cypress. Not sure if another oil would have the same constituent properties as YL’s cypress essential oil.

      Thanks for writing
